Hey everyone!! Well I figured before I left, I would give everyone the over view of where and what exactly I will be doing in China. Well tomorrow (Sunday, March 30) we will be leaving Atlanta at 7:15 EST to fly to Los Angeles arriving at around 12:15 AM EST. We will then leave Los Angeles at roughly 4:30AM EST and arrive in Beijing at 5:20 PM EST on Monday the 31st. From Beijing we will fly to Chengdu arriving there at 10:40 PM EST. In China time we will arrive at 10:40 AM on April 1. Now isn't that fun?
It's pretty easy to figure out what time it is where I'll be in China. It is exactly 12 hours apart. So if its ten AM here then it would be 10 PM there. So I will be in Chengdu until April 29 teaching English classes to Elementary and Middle School students at Sichuan Normal University. Once we finish there, some fellow friends and I are going site seeing for an extra week. We will fly from Chengdu to Shanghai for 3 days. Then take a train from Shanghai to Beijing. Stay in Beijing for 3 nights and then will start our trek home on May 5 and will arrive back in Atlanta on May 6 at 6:10 AM EST!! Any volunteers for picking me up at the airport????
